CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty in 70 countries by improving education, expanding economic opportunity and increasing access to health care. CARE places special focus on working along side poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty.

The Moth, a not-for-profit organization devoted to storytelling, breathes modern life into the world's most ancient art form. Called "New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket" by The Wall Street Journal, Moth evenings feature true stories told by people from all walks of life - legendary artists, retired pick-pockets, scientists, and everyone in between. Tonight's show features graduates of The MothSHOP, the Moth's Community Outreach series, which brings storytelling workshops, free of charge, to students and diverse populations in neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs of New York City. For more information and to nominate a community group, visit themoth.org/outreach.

Poets House is a national poetry library and literary center that invites poets and the public to step into the living tradition of poetry. Our poetry resources and literary events document the wealth and diversity of modern poetry, and stimulate public dialogue on issues of poetry in culture. In 2009, Poets House will move to its permanent home in Battery Park City.
