Protect human rights in Guatemala

From: Peace Brigades International

Indigenous populations in Guatemala have endured a long history of discrimination. Today, as the country works to resolve longstanding issues of land ownership and lift up its impoverished population, indigenous groups need our support.

You can join the struggle for indigenous land rights by volunteering as an observer with Peace Brigades International.

The objective of Peace Brigade International's presence is to protect the political space of human-rights defenders and other civil-society activists that suffer repression for their nonviolent work in favor of human rights, peace and social justice.
