Students: If you have a passion for the arts, use your talents to change the world as part of the Heifer Theater Project. For two weeks each year, high school students from across the U.S. and around the world gather at Heifer International's ranch to live the lessons of world hunger and poverty through their writing, dance, music and drama, turning the performing arts into a wellspring for social awareness and change.
Have you ever had the pleasure of knowing or teaching a bright, artistically talented young person and wanted to help them develop their skills and deepen their passion for the arts?
Heifer International has an opportunity for high school students to exercise their talents while learning more about how to change the world. The Heifer Theatre Project is the vanguard of our efforts to turn the performing arts into a wellspring for social awareness and change.
For two weeks each year, high school students from across the U.S. and around the world gather at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas to live the lessons of world hunger and poverty, community interaction and growth in the Heifer Global Village.
Next, they use their knowledge and experience from the Global Village in workshops in writing, dance, music and drama to translate their experiences into an original theatrical production.
